A Simple Thank You Doesn't Seem to be Enough

Have you ever had a dream? One that you weren't sure would come to life? One that you felt so strongly about? One that filled you with great hope, but also great doubt? That is the road that we took with Cripple Creek Barbeque on Kickstarter. And thanks to the hard work, kind words, and generous pledges from our family, friends, and strangers WE MADE IT! Our dream is starting take life and within the next couple of months we will have a BBQ food truck roaming the streets of Boulder County in Colorado!

I wish I could personally thank everyone for all of their support. I want to give each of you a hug. Seeing as everyone is spread out all over the world, that is impossible. I hope this, in some way, conveys my deepest gratitude for everything everyone has done to help us. I have my Zazzle family. I have my Depeche Mode family. I have my family. I have my friends - new and old. I now have a very extended CCB family - a group I will always hold dear to my heart and will never forget.

Thank you so much for all of the tweets, retweets, Facebook posts, blogs, comments, messages, encouragement, friendship, and love. I've never felt so lucky in my life.

We hope to make you proud. We hope that we can return the favor one day. And we hope that you know that us saying Thank You brings more than just a simple thanks. It truly does not seem to be enough.

A Way to Say Thanks - The Zazzle Edition

At 11:37am MT, on Saturday April 30th, Cripple Creek Barbeque officially became a funded project on Kickstarter. Not only did we reach our goal, but we exceeded it. There were a fair share of backers who are strangers to us. But most of our support came from family and friends that worked tirelessly, especially in the final days, to promote us with blogs, tweets, and Facebook posts, who drumed up pledges from friends near and far, and who virtually held our hands and offered us shoulders to lean on when we doubted ourselves the most.

I've found it hard to say anything but 'thank you' repeatedly because I've truly been at a loss for words. I don't think the gratitude I feel for all of the people involved in this will ever be fully known because the words I need to say escape me now. I don't know how to pay everyone back for all they've done. I hope this will help.

I have many members of my Zazzle family who stepped up to the plate, took the reins, and ran with this dream of ours. They took ownership of this food truck, as we hoped they would. Rather than saying "you can do it" they started saying "we can do it." My Zazzle family became part of the CCB family. And they will forever be a part of our family. I wanted to do a quick promotional thank you to them. I ask you to please take a look at what my wonderfully talented friends have to offer on Zazzle. These are artists and designers that deserve all the luck and love in the world.
