On Tuesday, November 6, 2012 the United States of America re-elected President Barack Obama for a 2nd term. And in Maine, Maryland, and Washington State, voters chose to approve marriage equality for it's gay and lesbian brothers and sisters! They join Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York in making marriage legal for it's residents. I couldn't be prouder of these states, especially my home state of Washington for making the move toward love and equality.
Thank you, voters, for doing the right thing and being on the right side of history. We as a country should only look forward, never look back, when it comes to love, acceptance, and equality.
